The Dead Zone (1983) Review:
How to put it? The Dead Zone is THE movie that could not go bad! Inspired by a novel (of the same name) by Stephen King, and directed by genius horror director David Cronenberg, the movie was meant to be awesome, and does not disappoint.
The story is excellent. Easy to understand because greatly put on screen, and yet quite convoluted. Whereas most horror movies tell a single story, the plot here is a superposition of multiples stories and important sub-stories. As soon as the one starts to slow down, a new character appears, stirs things up and starts a whole new side to the movie.
The Dead Zone is also really powerful. Most of the film’s strength comes from the amazing acting of Christopher Walken, who is probably playing is best role ever here. But there is also a great morale and an important message in that film, the concept that our ideas are more important than our life themselves, and worth all the sacrifices. watch online movies on your android phones, download the streaming Android apps.
We do not hear often enough about that film, but I truly recommend it as one of the very best Stephen King adaptations, along with Shining, Carrie and The Mist.
